Candy Man
Alex Kwaku Amoah, known on radio as DJ Candy Man, has taken over the Akwaaba Drive on Atinka FM as its new host.
DJ Candyman takes over from Kofi Asare Brako (Abatay), the former host, who has been transferred to a sister station, Agyenkwa FM, in Kumasi as its general manager.
Akwaaba Drive on Atinka FM airs from Mondays to Fridays from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
For three-and-a-half-years, DJ Candy Man has been the host of Atinka FM’s After Drive Time programme which has featured several artistes like Medikal, Kofi Bee, Adina, Paa Kwesi of Dobble fame, Qwesi Oteng, D Cryme and others.
Candy Man, who has been on radio for the past 21 years, has trained top DJs such as DJ Narcash, DJ Chifaro, G Cue, DJ Warren and a host of others.
He has worked with Fox FM, Hello FM, Radio Lynk and Rainbow Radio.
