Ghanaian-owned pharmaceutical company, Ernest Chemists Limited, has presented assorted medications to the Kwahu Government Hospital at Atibie in the Eastern Region.

The medications, including anti-hypertensives, antibiotics, pain relievers, anti-diabetics, disinfectants, infusions and other hospital consumables, are to support the facility in its service delivery to the public.

Handing over the items to the hospital’s management, Marketing Manager of Ernest Chemists Limited, Richard Twumasi, said, “The CEO, Ernest Bediako Sampong, has decided that the company lends some support to the hospital to help alleviate the pressure that it goes through.”

“The donation is to assist the facility to bring relief to the less privileged who cannot afford the medication bill but need quality medication to complete their treatment,” he added.

The Medical Superintendent of Kwahu Government Hospital, Dr. Arko Akoto-Ampaw, who received the donation, expressed their appreciation to Ernest Chemists for their support. He pointed out that the facility would use the medications to assist patients who cannot afford their medication bills.
