Transport and logistics firm, Jonmoore International Limited, has launched its 20th anniversary celebration in Ghana.

Speaking at the recent launch in Accra, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Jonmoore International, Hilton John Mitchell, attributed the success of the company over the last two decades to adherence to safety standards.

“In the transport and logistics industry, such attributes are key to keep one’s client happy and continue to be in business.”

“Although Jonmoore International does not have a lot of clients, the magic has been giving clients the best service, being there for them all the time, adopting good pricing and execution strategy.”

He said, “the most important thing for us is being safe in the execution of your services. One of the things we pride ourselves is that we have built our capacity in compliance with the standard of execution of services.”

He added that “so we have a zero tolerance for corruption, and it’s part of our standards, which is what keeps good clients around.”

Mr. Mitchell indicated that “because of this, our clients have taken us everywhere they have gone. “We have a client that we have worked for on all 13 of his sites across West Africa. We don’t have a very large clientele base but 99.9 percent of our clients have been with us for at least over 15 years.”

Jonmoore International Limited commenced business in 1998 with few vehicles, but today the company boasts of a diverse fleet, including prime movers with a pulling capacity of up to 140 tons, out-of-gauge cargo bulk tankers, low loaders with a maximum capacity of 140 tons, small load rigids and pick-ups.

According to Mr. Mitchell, the company is positioning itself to take advantage of the booming oil industry.

Board Chair of the company, Fred Oware, thanked the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and the staff for their hard work and going the extra mile to please the clients.

The chairman explained that “that kind of attitude gives me confidence that we will survive into the future.”

“This gives assurance to our clients, partners and other stakeholders that we would be there for them in the future.

He revealed that government has provided an enabling environment for logistics companies like Jonmoore International to thrive.

Mr. Oware said the company would support government’s efforts at improving the country’s railway system.
