Kojo Antwi
Veteran Ghanaian highlife musician Kojo Antwi, aka Mr Music Man, is billed to stage a live musical concert on Tuesday, December 26 at the Labadi Beach Hotel in Accra.
Dubbed ‘Precious Gift of Love Concert’, the event is expected to attract a tall list of industry professionals, families and friends of Kojo Antwi.
This year’s edition of the concert is also anticipated to be historic because it will feature selected music personalities who will join Kojo Antwi to thrill his teeming fans.
There will also be a surprise artiste from the Ivory Coast who will perform on the night.
Kojo Antwi has promised to make the event one-of-a-kind, promising to perform most of his favourite songs such as ‘Tom & Jerry’, ‘Mr Groovy’, ‘Dadie Anoma’, ‘Mr Music Man’, ‘Akonoba’, ‘Medofo Pa’, ‘Densu’, among others.
He also assured patrons of the December 26 live concert to expect firsthand sampling of great songs on his upcoming album featuring a controversial track titled ‘Supremo’.
Born Julius Kojo Antwi, the Afro-pop, highlife and reggae musician is again billed to perform in Kumasi on December 30 at Miklin Hotel in Kumasi.
Music fans in the Brong Ahafo Region will also have the opportunity to get closer to him as he performs at the Centre for National Culture on New Year’s Day.
