The Twafohene of Larteh Kubease, Nana Asabea I, has supported youth of Larteh Kubease through her NGO, Namasa Royal Foundation in Larteh.

The Namasa Foundation, founded by Nana Asabea I, seeks to equip the youth in the area with various vocational skills in catering, fashion designing, décor and others.

At the launch of the foundation and fundraising ceremony in Larteh in the Eastern Region recently, Nana Asabea I mentioned that the initiative seeks to equip the youth with skills aimed at securing their future and that of their families.

“… About 30 participants are passing out today; indeed, it gives me great joy and satisfaction, having realized that they have gone through the training successfully. At least, I have contributed my quota to national development, the participants have families; having acquired this skill, they can support themselves and various families, government alone can’t solve the unemployment problem,” she indicated.

Nana Asabea continued, “What I did for the first batch was to pay for their enrolment fees to the various vocation heads. I believe if government will support us, we will help more youth in my area and extend it to other communities.”

Prophet Nana Akwasi Amponsah (Computer Man), founder and head pastor of Hope Generation Ministry International, commended Nana Asabea for the initiative and called on government to support the project.

He and his other partners supported the fundraising with thousands of cedis and helped raised an appreciable amount of cash for the initiative.

Currently, the foundation boasts of close to 40 beneficiaries.
