One of Ghana’s leading retail companies, Orca Deco, on Friday, October 5, 2018, launched its 15th anniversary off the Spintex Road in Accra.

As part of the celebration, the company is offering 15 percent discount on its products.

It would also make donations to some selected orphanages.

Speaking at the launch, Sales and Marketing Director of Orca Deco, Sonia Sharara, the company, which was established in 2003, has expanded tremendously.

According to her, “15 years of doing business in Ghana has not been easy, but with dedication, commitment and consistency, the company has survived the test of time, and we are happy to celebrate this day with you.”

She added that “we have come a long way in the Ghanaian market, and it’s important for us to celebrate this milestone with our staff, customers and partners for their loyalty and dedication.”

The director revealed that “we cannot celebrate this special occasion without saying special thank you to our hardworking staff for their loyalty and professionalism in serving our cherished customers over the years.”

Ms Sharara said, “For us, giving is the best way to celebrate your birthday. That’s why as we turn 15 this year, Orca is giving up to 15% off on everything you buy, every time you shop at Orca.”

She observed that “in addition, we seek to give back to the community. As a great company, we cannot survive without the support of our community or society, hence we would continue to give back to society as part of our efforts to create social value. As part of our 15th anniversary, we will embark on another CSR drive by donating beds to an institution to be selected soon.”

Orca Deco started in Senegal in the year 2000, and has grown to attain a Pan-African status, with presence in 16 countries across the continent.

It has about 25 showrooms in West, Central and East Africa.

It started operations in Ghana in 2003 with its maiden branch in Accra on the Graphic Road.

In 2005, Orca Deco opened a branch at Asokwa in Kumasi, and in 2012 its current main showroom with 6000sqm and about 15,000 items was opened off the Spintex Road.
