Puma Energy, a global integrated mid and downstream energy company, has rewarded a number of its service station dealers at its annual 2018 Retail Conference and Awards held in Elmina in the Central Region.

Hamidu Mohammed, a dealer managing three Puma Energy service stations in the Ashanti Region, emerged as the best-performing dealer during the 2017 year under review.

He received a crystal plaque, a citation and an amount of $5,000.00 to reward him for his hard work.

Speaking at the awards night, Managing Director for Puma Energy Distribution Ghana Limited, Myles Bouvier-Baird, commended all dealers for contributing to the growth of the Puma Energy brand in Ghana.

“We are proud to have you on board as our partners. With you, the Puma Energy retail network is growing steadily, and we acknowledge your contribution to the business. Let us however not rest on our laurels, but strive to achieve even more. The sky is the limit,” said Bouvier-Baird.

Retail Manager for Ghana, Andrews Wiafe, highlighted the challenges of the players in the industry.

The awards night was part of an annual Retail Conference weekend organised by Puma Energy.

Themed “Quality Fuel, Quality Service, Quality Standards,” the conference brought together the largest number of dealers to date, along with a number of station managers, retail team, leadership team and key support functions to the retail outfit.

It formed part of Puma Energy’s mandate to foster development opportunities and reward the exceptional performance of its employees and partners, who all contribute to its rapidly expanding business, bringing quality service to all Ghanaians.

In addition to Dealer of the Year Award, Mr Mohammed also received Lubricant Site of the Year 2017 for the Asafo Puma Energy Service Station he oversees, and a pump attendant at one of his stations, Victoria Adjei, won Pump Attendant of the Year Award.

The rest of the winners are as follows: HSSEC site of the year – Ajumako Puma Energy Service Station; Best Housekeeping Site of the Year – New Bortianor Service Station; Customer Service Site of the Year – Nmai Dzorn Service Station; Supervisor of the Year – Wisdom Atsu (Madina Puma Energy Service Station); Financial Discipline Dealer of the Year – Alhaji Sunrise Sulley Mohammed (Oyarifa 1 Puma Energy Service Station) and Promising Site of the Year – Aprade Service Station.

Puma Energy continues to develop its services across board in order to deliver high quality fuel at a low cost to all Ghanaians.

Aside its rapidly-expanding retail network with over 80 sites, the company has downstream offerings in aviation, business-to-business, lubricants, LPG and bunkering.
