The Ghana Health Service (GHS) has confirmed one more case of coronavirus (COVID-19) in the country, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to seven in Ghana.
The patient is a 35-year-old male and a Ghanaian who returned to Accra from France within the past 14 days, making the latest case another imported one.
Confirming the case, the COVID-19 outbreak response management update website said, “Seven (7) confirmed cases as of 17th March 2020, 15 GMT.”
“The case is being managed in isolation and he is in stable condition,” the Ghana Health Service said in a tweet.
