DJ Switch, winner of last year’s edition
This year’s edition of TV3’s Talented Kidz, which is one of the most popular reality shows on television, has officially been launched at a colourful ceremony held at TV3’s Studio B in Accra.
This year’s edition, which marks the 10th anniversary of the show, promises to produce yet another talented bunch of child stars for the country.
Speaking at the launch ceremony held on Friday, the General Manager of Shared Services & Operations, Winfred Kingsley Afful, said the 10th anniversary edition promises a lot of surprises to entertain and thrill fans.
According to him, the audition train for this year’s competition will begin in Takoradi from Friday, February 1-2 at premises of Connect FM, also in Takoradi.
He said Kumasi audition will be held on February 8 and 9 at TV3’s Asokwa premises.
The final audition will be held in Accra on February 15 and 16 at TV3’s Kanda premises.
He mentioned that after the auditions, selected finalists will be outdoored at the maiden live show on Sunday, March 3.
The winner of this year’s competition will walk home with a cash prize of GH¢10,000, a GH¢ 15,000 educational fund, a fun trip to Dubai and souvenirs from sponsors.
The first runner-up will also get GH¢8,000 cash, an educational fund worth GH¢10,000, a trip to Dubai and souvenirs from sponsors.
Second and third runners-up will also walk home with GH¢6,000 and GH¢4,000 respectively as well as souvenirs from sponsors.
All finalists of this year’s competition will each walk away with a 32-inch digital television set.
The 10th anniversary edition promises yet another exciting journey of entertainment, showcase of refreshing talents, amongst other things.
