A TOTAL of 137 artisans in the Ahafo Ano South East Constituency of the Ashanti Region, have received free essential tools and equipment to enhance their work output to boost their living conditions.
The largesse was made possible following the timely intervention of Frederick Acheampong, aka ‘Ache’, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Parliamentary Candidate (PC) for Ahafo Ano South East Constituency.
At a colourful ceremony at Adugyama, the beneficiaries, including masons, carpenters, welders, hairdressers, and seamstresses, received the tools which would help them to start or expand their businesses.
The items which were presented to the beneficiaries included hair dryers, welding machines, sewing machines, and other essential tools, designed to help boost the productivity of the local workforce.
Frederick Acheampong said it is appropriate to support the artisans with the right tools to enable them excel in their respective trades, urging the recipients to make good use of the equipments presented to them.
The Ahafo Ano South East Constituency NPP PC said the donation would not be a nine-day wonder, promising to present more tools to other artisans in the Constituency.
“We will continue to distribute more in subsequent phases. Any apprentice who fills out the forms will receive theirs soon. Don’t sit idle, these tools are a starting point for your future.
“By God’s grace, if I am elected as your Member of Parliament, I look forward to seeing many of you employing others in your businesses,” Frederick Acheampong declared.
According to him, the welfare of his constituents is dear to his heart, therefore, he would work assiduously to bring more development to the constituency if elected to represent them.
The beneficiaries commended Frederick Acheampong for his passion and determination to transform the Constituency and its people, promising to vote for him on December 7, 2024.
