The vehicle, loaded with tomatoes, was travelling from Akyem Begoro in the Eastern Region to Ashaiman in the Greater Accra Region when the two suspects attacked the traders at about 4am on June 6, 2021 at Bunso Site 2 on the Bunso-Osiem Highway.

The suspects, who are both 25 years, have been identified as Haruna Amadu and Joseph Nyira.

According to police reports, the hoodlums robbed five female traders of their monies and bags at gunpoint and in the process shot one of the traders called Victoria in the head, killing her instantly.
