2017 Rhythmz On Da Runway …The Styles & The Thrills

 

The 2017 edition of the Rhythmz On Da Runway fashion event came off successfully at the Banquet Hall, State House, in Accra on Saturday night and attracted fashion lovers from all walks of life. .

It was a night of surprises and a lot of excitement and many described it as a strong fashion statement from Ghana to Africa and perhaps the world at large.

Bon Collection set the tone for the thrilling fashion evening with its ultra-feminine style which had TV and radio personalities, including Akumaa Zimbi who joined other young models to wow the audiences.

There were great designs by Abrantie The Gentleman which struck some real fashion notes and winning some applauds from the audience, just as Bon Collection.

The audience, as usual, enjoyed Ophelia Crossland’s fantastic collection when she took her turn.

Her styles were simple but classy, very professional and sophisticated for any occasion. There were also other great designs by Palse Collection.

Velma Accessories by Velma Owusu Bempah proved there is a great future for the millinery and clutch designing industry in Ghana.

Her collections were, no doubt, one of the highlights of the show. The clutch came in different shapes and unique styles just as the millinery collection.

“I felt good and special when those pieces came out on the catwalk,” Velma said after the show.

Nineteen57 by KOD also climaxed the event with a lot more thrills and great designs for men. Rapper Kwaw Kese, Coded of 4×4 fame and other celebrities were all on the runway to showcase KOD’s collection.

Aside the showcase thrills, there were exciting musical performances from M.anifest, Sarkodie, Akwaboah and others to enhance the event.
