2020 Special Voters List Out

THE ELECTORAL Commission (EC) has released list of electorate who will be participating in the Tuesday December 1 special voting for the 2020 election.

The list contains voters from all the polling stations across the country and where they are supposed to vote in every constituency.

Special Voting is for voters who as a result of their duties on election day are unable to vote at the polling stations where they registered on the day of the election.

The voting is expected to cover security personnel, media practitioner and EC officials who will work outside their jurisdiction on Election Day and election officials

These categories of persons submitted their Voter ID card details to the Commission ahead of the compilation.

Special Voting is only allowed for general elections.

The results of this special vote will however not be declared until after the general election.

EC started the compilation of special voters on October 2, 2020 and concluded on October 15, 2020.

Meanwhile, there were over 127,000 special voters for the 2016 election.
