Mcphyllis, Ghana Gas and Streetwise Foundation yesterday presented food and other items worth thousands of Cedis to the Ghana Boxing Authority (GBA) at the Bukom Boxing Arena, Accra.
The items included bags of rice, bags of sugar, beverage products and PPE.
The gesture, according to the donors, was in support of GBA in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic.
Officials from the three institutions, in separate words, promised their continued support for the boxing outfit.
GBA General Secretary Patrick Johnson expressed gross gratitude to the donors for the gesture, saying, “We believe these items will go a long way in supporting our boxers. We are, indeed, grateful for the support and we hope other companies will follow your shining example.”
