Some four passengers are feared dead in a gas tanker crash at Osamkrom, in the Gomoa Central District of the Central Region, reports reaching DGN Online suggest.
The gas tanker is believed to have fallen on a passenger car.
Information available to DGN Online indicate that the Gas tanker was heading from Accra to Agona Swedru to offload the Gas while the passengers car was also coming from Swedru heading towards Winneba.
An eyewitness account indicated that, upon reaching Osamkrom prison junction, the passengers car first fell into the ditch before the Gas tanker also fell on it.
Authorities from the Ghana Fire Service have declined to disclose the actual number of casualties but eyewitnesses say there were four deaths.
