The sixth edition of the Information Ministry’s Nation Building Updates series has kicked off.
Today’s Updates is taking place at the Academy of Arts and Sciences in Accra.
Education Minister, Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh, is leading the Thursday, October 29, 2020, discussions.
The Updates today is taking place under the theme: “The Teacher at the Centre of Quality Education.”
In his welcome remarks, Information Minister, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, reiterated that
the Nation Building Updates afforded heads of government’s departments, and agencies to account to the people of Ghana the kind of works that have been undertaken under their stewardship over the last three years, 10-months of the President Nana Akufo-Addo’s administration.
The Education Minister last meeting at the Updates focused on infrastructure that the Ghanaian Government had provided so far within the close to four years term of the current administration.
Today’s Updates are focusing on teacher related interventions that are ensuring the Ghanaian teacher is better off and is at the heart of education development in Ghana.
