The Ghana Health Service (GHS) has partly attributed the rising cases of coronavirus in Ghana to lack of adherence to the safety protocols.
According to the GHS, there has been an increase in persons who are not wearing masks.
Director General of GHS, Dr Patrick Kuma-Aboagye, made this known to the media on Monday, November 9.
Addressing the media at the Information Ministry in Accra, he said “the proportion of people wearing mask correctly has dropped from 44.3% to 10% (5% in some settings).
He stated that “those not wearing mask at all has increase from 18% 72% over the five surveys (August-October).”
