About eight passengers are battling for their lives following an accident which occurred at Kpong on the Tema-Akosombo highway.
The accident reportedly occurred Sunday September 19, 2021 at about 6:39 pm when a private vehicle collided head on with a commercial bus.
Information available to DGN Online indicates that the accident involved a Ford SUV with Registration Number GX 2698-15 and Hyundai Passenger Van with Registration Number GT 5336 -18.
The Ford SUV from Akosombo direction purportedly veered off its lane and crashed with the Hyundai passenger van from Tema direction to Akosombo.
Some eight persons recorded various degrees of injuries as they were rescued and rushed to the nearby hospital for medical attention.
Motorists are therefore advised to driver with extra caution when using that stretch.
