As part of activities marking this year’s Ada Asafotufiami festival, Rubstone Pub, in collaboration with MTN, will host a musical jam dubbed ‘Asafotu Jam’ at Kemat Hotel in Ada on Saturday, August 6.
Bound to be an event with wonderful performances from an incredible line-up of Ghanaian celebrated music icons, organisers of the event are looking forward to an extraordinary concert yet to happen at Ada.
According to the organisers, the platform is meant to allow the whole country to share in the rich history of the people who happen to be celebrating their festival.
The jam will witness performances from a number of Ghanaian hiplife artistes like Keche, Obomofour, B-Kay, Alicia Bankz and a host of other prominent artistes.
All the artistes billed to perform see the impending musical concert as an opportunity to thrill their various fans who have missed out on seeing them perform live on stage for some time now.
The event, brought to you by MTN, is supported by Kasapa FM and Radio Ada, and powered by Ringworld Limited.
The festival is celebrated by the chiefs and people of the Ada Traditional Area in the Dangme East District of the Greater Accra Region of Ghana. It is an annual festival and week-long activities.
The celebration of the festival is in remembrance of the achievements in wars for settlement fought by the ancestors of the area, hence the name Asafotufiami.
