Pharmaceutical giants Kofikrom Pharmaceuticals has extended a helping hand to Ghana’s weight lifting Rio Olympics representative, Christian Amoah.
Besides taking comprehensive care of the athlete’s medication and vitamins, the pharmaceutical company will fund Amponsah’s training program.
Managing Director of Kofikrom Pharmaceuticals, Kofi Addo Agyekum said after the presentation that “Football is saturated, I want to now grow with what is termed as the least financed sports, hence this gesture.”
“I see a great potential in Amoah, I strongly believe having invested well by way of preparation coupled with our rich vitamins, he will lift the flag of Ghana aloft.”
The pharmaceutical firm recently sponsored the maiden Ghana Arm Wrestling Competition that rocked the Accra Stadium.
The Olympics is scheduled to commence from August 5 to 31 in Rio, Brazil.
