The lifeless body on the ground.
Residents of Kpodzi in Ada-Foah in the Ada East District of the Greater Accra Region were astounded when they discovered the body of a woman believed to have been brutally attacked with acid by known assailants.
The body of the identified woman, believed to be in her early 30s, was found near the Ada East District Assembly on Monday morning.
She was found half naked with burns all over the body.
It’s believed that the assailants strangulated her before pouring the liquid on her.
Some residents suspect the woman was killed elsewhere and dumped in the area by the assailants.
They appealed to the police to launch full-scale investigations into the matter to bring the perpetrators to book.
The Ada-Foah District Police, who confirmed the incident to DAILY GUIDE, said the police received information from some residents of the death of the deceased.
The residents are said to have told the police that some people killed the woman in the evening.
The body was examined by crime scene experts and conveyed to the Ada East District Hospital in Accra for autopsy.
