Black Stars strong midfielder Emmanuel Agyeman Badu has revealed that he is nearing full fitness.
The Udinese man suffered shipwreck-stomach flu while on national assignment, which rendered him hospitalised for days in his home country.
Consequently, he has been on the sidelines for days and now warming himself back into his lost first team place.
Badu however returned to action from the bench against Pescara, replacing Rodrigo Javier de Paul in the 57th minute.
He indicated on the club’s TV that he now feels much better saying “The past two weeks have been very difficult for me. After the international break with my national team, I faced several setbacks and although I am not back to my full fitness, I think I am getting better.”
“I wanted to help the team today and we had a good game by defeating Pescara, thanks to my teammates, coaches and the supporters
“We have to keep our cool and work hard towards our next game against Palermo on Thursday evening. We need another win in that game.”
Udinese is lying 16th on the log with ten points.
