Ghana captain Asamoah Gyan has poured chilled water on his current injury situation.
Earlier reports indicated that the Black Stars leader would miss next January’s Nations Cup in Gabon due to an injury he picked last week during a league match.
The strong-willed striker, in an interview, disclosed that “the injury was scary to the extent that I could not even walk. I am now happy that I can walk and I have even started training.”
The former Sunderland added that “I am responding to treatment. No fears, I am almost fit.”
