The New Patriotic Party (NPP) branch in the Manhyia North Constituency has taken delivery of a Ford Expedition vehicle to enable the party’s executives to intensify political campaign ahead of Wednesday’s polls.

A patron of the NPP in Manhyia North Constituency, Francis Tettey Ahwah, who is also a prominent businessman, presented the car, brand new computer and an amount of GH¢10,000 to support the party’s activities.

The presentation ceremony, which was held at the NPP constituency office at Buokrom on Wednesday evening, was attended by NPP constituency executives, including staunch NPP supporters in the constituency.

Mr. Tettey Ahwah gave the assurance that he would also fix a brand new air conditioner at the party’s constituency office, stressing that the donation would help make the NPP formidable.

I realized that the Manhyia North Constituency NPP lacked a vehicle and this was impeding effective party campaign so I decided to present the vehicle to help the NPP go all out and campaign, according to him.

Kwaku Oppong, NPP Chairman for Manhyia North, in his remarks, commended Mr. Tettey Ahwah for his kind gesture and timely support, noting that the vehicle would help improve the party’s campaign activities.

Anthony Gyamfi Ameyaw, the NPP Secretary for Manhyia North, on his part, declared that the party would win at least 80 percent of the valid votes in the presidential race in the area to help Nana Akufo-Addo become president.

Frederick Addai, the NPP Treasurer in the constituency, stated that the NPP is poised for victory, urging well-to-do-people that have the interest of the NPP at heart to support the party’s activities ahead of the polls.
