Vodafone Ghana has launched another product to empower customers with knowledge, shape their skills, connect them to the things that matter most to them, and also reward loyalty.
The product, Vodafone VIM, (Vision In Motion) is designed to provide customers with weekly motivational voice clips and a series of educational and self-development videos on seven main courses including T-shirt printing, soap making, beauty, fashion, baking, juice making and décor.
Agnes Essah, director of marketing at Vodafone Ghana, said VIM offers unequalled minutes for calls to Vodafone and other networks, in addition to data for browsing the internet.
She also noted that VIM has a unique loyalty programme that will touch the lives of over 100 loyal customers per quarter in various vocational courses, award them certificates and provide essential working tools to enable them to succeed.
She said everyone with an entrepreneurial spirit to succeed qualifies to benefit from the new product but particularly people who are mostly involved in small scale trading, buying and selling.
“Vodafone VIM has been designed to meet the specific needs of these people and satisfy their passion. These groups need VIM to become what they want to be – and we want to be the platform that gives them this VIM to go all out and succeed,” she added.
Julius Owusu Kyerematen, head of strategy and innovation, explaining how the product works said for just GH¢ 3, VIM customers get to enjoy GH¢ 55 worth of minutes to call Vodafone numbers, GH¢ 1.30 worth of minutes to call any other network, and 300MB data for the internet for 7 days.
He said to subscribe to the offer, existing Vodafone customers should simply dial *556# to activate or get a Vodafone SIM to sign-up.
He hinted that customers can only sign up to one of the many Vodafone bundle offer at a time. “However, you can add more data to your VIM bundle by dialing *700# and select your preferred bundle,” he said.
Rewards
Mr. Kyerematen observed that Vodafone VIM customers can win a fully paid professional training and working tool by being active on the offer, and must have finished viewing all the tutorial videos for a minimum of 12 weeks.
“Send us evidence of you practising what you’ve learnt by sharing pictures and videos through our dedicated WhatsApp platform, in addition to a formal request stating the reasons why you should be considered for the loyalty package for the quarter in question.
An independent body of judges selected from institutions in the defined vocational sectors shall select the best customers per vocational skill. This is going to be a free and fair process to select the most deserving subscriber,” he added.
