The new Nima District Police Commander DSP Paul Bampo yesterday visited the offices of the Western Publications Limited to, as he put it acquaint himself with the areas under his command.
This way, he said, he would be able to exchange ideas with the residents and corporate organizations within his jurisdiction so he can strategise security arrangements required of his command.
“It is important that as a new commander of the district I visit the places under my command so I can strategise on the security management for effective service delivery,” he said.
Such a visit, he added “would strengthen the spirit of collaboration between my command and the corporate bodies and others within my command.”
Cooperation with corporate bodies and residents within the command, he went on, would ensure that the environment is safe.
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Western Publications, Mrs. Gina Blay, who is on the verge of taking up her new appointment as Ghana’s envoy to Germany, expressed delight that the new Commander has found DAILY GUIDE worthy of such a courtesy call.
She assured the Commander of the support of the company, explaining that the media, especially newspapers, are necessary irritants in every society.
