Lenovo, through its subsidiary Motorola Mobility, on Tuesday, unveiled its latest mobile device, the Moto Z, in partnership with MTN Ghana in Accra.
Powerful and beautiful, the Moto Z is the world’s thinnest premium smartphone and is compatible with the all new Moto Mods – giving consumers the ability to change their phone in a snap.
It is the fifth handset MTN is introducing this year and there are many more in the pipeline, said Asher Khan, Chief marketing Officer, MTN Ghana.
Made from military aircraft-grade aluminum and stainless steel, the stunning new Moto Z is durable, yetrazor thin – just 5.2mm – and ultra-light with a 5.5” Quad HD AMOLED display.
The latest device from Motorola also packs an incredibly powerful Qualcomm® SnapdragonTM 820 processor, available with 4GB of RAM and 32 GB or 64 GB of storage inside. For even more space to store pictures, videos and apps, just add a microSD card up to 2 TB.
Also, the Moto Z has a high-resolution 13MP camera with optical image stabilization and laser autofocus, helping people take beautiful, true-to-life pictures in any light, because of the perfect Projector.
The Power Pack Moto Mod instantly adds up to 22 hours of life to your phone and moment doesn’t always mean perfect conditions. The front-facing 5MP camera includes a wide-angle lens, which is great for fitting friends in the picture. And with an extra flash on the front, everybody in the group looks their best – even in low light.
“Up to 30 hours of battery will keep users going all day and well into the night without needing to stop and recharge. But when it’s time to power up, you’ll get up to 8 hours of power in just 15 minutes with TurboPower.”
“What’s more, the water-repellant coating means rain, splashes or spills won’t get in the way and with its fingerprint reader, a touch will instantly wake up your phone,” said Bolande Oyekanmi, Marketing Manager of Lenovo West Africa.
Business Leader of Lenovo Mobile Business Group West Africa, Manoj Rajasekharan said: “Motorola mobile phones have over 44-years’ of history and are a much-loved brand among consumers around the world.”
