Korean Cosmetics Firm Eyes Ghana

Multiple award-winning South Korean cosmetics manufacturing company, HanBangMeIN (HBMIC) Group
is considering expanding its operations to Ghana in due course.

The HBMIC Group has since its inception in 1985 been a major force in the Korean cosmetics industry, expanding its operations overseas to countries such as China, Thailand, Japan and Vietnam, among others.

The company is also looking at Africa, beginning with Ghana as part of efforts to expand its operations to meet the needs of people in other regions.

It therefore called on all individuals who are interested in doing business to establish business ties to sell its wide range of skin and hair products and perfumes.

This was made known in a statement issued on behalf of HBMIC by its Ghana representative, Melvin Tarlue.

Overseas Sales Manager of HBMIC, SK Baik, in the statement, expressed his company’s preparedness to partnering businesses in Ghana.

“Any organization or individual interested in doing business with us should kindly contact our Ghana Country representative, Mr Tarlue,” it said.

HBMIC produces effective cosmetics all by conflating oriental medicine from Asia and new technology from the west, the statement indicated.

For instance, there is the Bok Jeon Hwa line, consisting of 16 kinds of high quality cosmetics with high-end packages, it said.

“Providing this line with reasonable price, especially for students, we have a good notice from universities, institutes and schools. Not only in Korea, but also from a lot of other countries like USA, Japan, North Europe. France.”

Established in 1985, HBMIC uses natural herbal composite extracts approved by South Korea’s Food and Drugs Authority (FDA) to manufacture its wide range of products.

The company has been awarded severally for its excellence in manufacturing.

In 2004, it was adjudged the Best Cosmetics Company by the Seoul Economist and Journal.

It also received superior exporting prize from the Mayor of the city of Daegu, South Korea.
