Bishop Demands Hard Work

Bishop Prince Hampel, of the Prince Hampel World Outreach

BISHOP PRINCE Hampel, Leader of the ‘Prince Hampel World Outreach’, has charged Ghanaians to be disciplined, God fearing and hard working if they want to be successful in life.

He stated emphatically that “There is no shortcut in life” therefore he admonished the populace to always work hard and be prayerful so that they would make it in their chosen professions.

The top preacher, whose popularity goes beyond the borders of Ghana, was speaking when five top personalities in the country, who have excelled in their chosen professions, were honoured in Kumasi.

The ‘Wisdom for Winning’, a subsidiary of the ‘Prince Hampel World Outreach’, honoured the five selected personalities during a colourful programme, held at the Golden City Hotel in Kumasi.

Among those who were honoured included Most Rev. Prof. Daniel Yinkah Sarfo, for his contribution to God’s work and Nana Ama McBrown, for contributing to uplift the movie industry in the country.

Others were Eleanor Effe Amanor aka ‘Mama Effe’, for making a strong impact in the media landscape and Mr. Boris Baidoo, affectionately called ‘Boris B’, for creating businesses and providing employment for others.

Also, the ‘Wisdom for Winning’ honoured Mr. Bernard Antwi Boasiako aka ‘Wontumi’, the Ashanti Regional New Patriotic Party (NPP) Chairman, for his contribution to the growth of politics in Ghana.

The ‘Wisdom of Winning Conference’ has been formed to equip people in leadership positions with the requisite knowledge and foresight so that they can make a strong impact in their respective areas of operations.

Continuing with his address, Bishop Hampel said the ‘Wisdom for Winning’ Excellence Awards has been established to honour people, whose contributions are helping to improve the country in the various fields.

He noted that the awards were geared towards motivating the selected people to continue working hard to promote the country, adding that the awards were also intended to encourage others to work hard for the country.

Bishop Hampel, who has travelled across the globe preaching God’s word and winning souls for over five decades now, stated that it is important that the country honoured its heroes whilst they are alive.
