A scene after the donation
After a three-week tour of some tourist attraction centres in the country, Elon University, North Carolina, has supported Gina’s Hope Nursery with personal effects at Adabraka in Accra.
The items included different types of toys, teddy bears, used clothing and other learning aids.
The 19-member students and two officials, led by Prof Jason Ayeh, also performed West African dances at various areas they visited.
Prof Ayeh, a professor of dance at the Elon University, said the gesture falls in line with the university’s charity programmes.
The leadership of the school expressed gross thanks to the donors for the support.
The group flew back to their United States of America base on Tuesday.
Prof Ayeh is the son of Charles James Ayeh, former CEO of the National Sports Council.
