Achimota Golf Club Lady Captain, Peace Akwei, extended her leadership role to two competitions-Lady Monthly Medal and Masters Trophy played at the Achimota Golf Club on Thursday.
She recorded a 70net score to pick the ultimate in the ladies Monthly Medal bronze category.
The Lady Captain again posted a 70 net to reign supreme in the Masters event.
Following in second position was V. Amoafo Yeboah, who finished with an 83 net, while Angelica Anyanful placed third with 85 net.
An 87 net handed Bernice Dzitorwoko the topmost prize in the silver division, while Christine Furler and Mona Myers Lamptey followed with 71 and 74 nets in second and third positions respectively.
Elated Peace Akwei attributed her feat to hard work and commended members for putting up appearance.
“Let’s continue in this same vein as the months roll by, I’m highly impressed by today’s attendance, we all demonstrated fair play and great sportsmanship, let’s keep it up,” she said.
Meanwhile, the ladies captain’s prize is scheduled to tee off on February 17 at the Achimota Golf Club.
