Samira relishing the roses
Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia demonstrated his profound love for his beautiful wife, Samira, yesterday when he presented her with red roses as her Valentine’s Day gift.
The Second Lady, Samira Bawumia, could not help but smell them with a lot of admiration.
She was full of smiles as the emissaries from her husband emerged at her Cantonments Office in Accra to present the bouquet.
Earlier at a church service held at the International Central Gospel Church (ICGC) to thank the Christian community for their prayers when Dr Bawumia went to London for medical treatment, the Vice President spoke kindly of his wife, who supported him throughout the period of the sick leave in the United Kingdom.
According to him, “They all stood by me. I also want to thank my lovely wife, Samira. Even though there were nurses, she was the chief nurse, and she seized all my phones and made sure I was resting.”
The veep and his wife’s bond of love continues to grow by the day; and the presentation of the red roses will no doubt further deepen it.
