Franky Kuri Buried

Franky Kuri, the late Ebony Reign’s friend, who died with her in a gory accident, was laid to rest in Accra on Saturday, March 3.

A burial service was held at the Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Kwashieman before her remains was laid to rest.

Saturday reports claimed her body was sent to a private ceremony at Achimota in Accra after the service at the Prince of Peace Catholic Church.

Franky Kuri, born Franklina Maame Yaa Tebua Nkansah, was a former student of Holy Child School, Cape Coast. She returned to Ghana from the USA, where she was domiciled, to meet her untimely death.

She died on February 8 with Ebony Reigns and Lance Corporal Vondee Francis Atsu in an accident while travelling from Sunyani to Accra.

They were pronounced dead on arrival at the Bechem Government Hospital, where they were taken to after the accident.

Franky had accompanied Ebony to visit pay a visit to her mother in Sunyani and were returning to Accra when the incident occurred.

Franky’s burial was attended by Ebony’s parents – Nana Opoku Kwarteng and Madam Beatrice Oppong – Evangelist Dr Lawrence Tetteh, actor Fiifi Coleman, Efya and others.

Her friend, Ebony Reigns, will also be given a final resting place on March 17. Her family has chosen the Independence Square for her final funeral rites.
