Boateng Backs Kotoko Coach To Succeed

Businessman, David Serebour Boateng has backed newly-signed Asante Kotoko Coach Paa Kwesi Fabin to restore the Club’s falling fortunes.

Some section of the club’s followers have expressed misgivings since the trainer assumed post about 14 days ago, dwelling on his performance during his first spell with the Porcupine Warriors some seasons ago.

However, the top Kotoko sympathizer is of a strong conviction that the former Black Starlets head trainer has moved a notch higher technically over the years to take Kotoko to places.

As a result, he has called on the Club’s fans to rally behind Paa Kwesi in his second coming.
He told this writer in his Tema office last Friday that “I believe a lot of water has passed under the bridge over the years, so let’s rally behind the coach to succeed.

“The recall of goalkeeper Ernest Sowah, maintaining Amos as his captain speaks volumes, he wants to rebuild, he wants to heal old wounds, and the Paa Kwesi of old is completely different from the Paa Kwesi of today.

“Let’s give him the benefit of the doubt, let’s rally behind him, and together, we would succeed.”

Paa Kwesi took over from sacked Englishman, Steve Pollack after signing a year’s deal.
