Sam Pyne
Ashanti Regional Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Sam Pyne, has intensified his campaign barely three weeks for the party to go to the polls to elect new executives.
According to Mr Pyne, even though he would win the position hands-down, he doesn’t want to become complacent.
“I would win the elections but I don’t want to be complacent, which will give my opponent a chance so I have intensified my campaign, and I will continue in this way until the elections are held.
Sam Pyne stated that there is no way that complacency would rear its ugly head in his campaign.
“Initially I thought that I was going for the Ashanti Regional Secretary position of the NPP unopposed, but the dynamics suddenly changed just two weeks ago, according to him.
“Now I have a contender but I am not afraid because I know that my good works, which have helped to make the party vibrant and attractive in the Ashanti region, will help me to garner more votes.
“The delegates, who are the kingmakers in our party, know about my competence, loyalty to the party and hard work so they would vote massively for me,” he stated on radio.
Sam Pyne, a teacher by profession, said his main focus is to continue to manage the party effectively so that 2020 elections would be won easily by the NPP for President Akufo-Addo to continue his good works to develop the country.
