Akwasi Addai, aka Odike and Kwaku Boahen
THE FOUNDER and Leader of United Progressive Party (UPP), Akwasi Addai, aka Odike, insists he has helped Kwaku Boahen of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) a great deal.
According to him, had it not been his timely intervention, the deputy national communications director of the NDC would not have been able to further his education to the university level.
Odike claimed that some years ago, Kwaku Boahen begged him for financial support so that he could go to the university. And he paid Kwaku’s school fees.
Interestingly, Kwaku Boahen instantly admitted that indeed Odike once heeded his appeal by paying his school fees for him, but he noted that he had also helped Odike before.
Boahen’s Attack
It all started when Odike was verbally attacked by Kwaku Boahen, who was also speaking on Nhyira Fm.
Kwaku Boahen said that Odike, who once contested the presidential seat in the country, had lowered the standard of the presidential seat, by being a radio panel member.
Odike Angry
Odike, who sounded like a furious man, stated that Kwaku Boahen could not dictate to him about how he should lead his life, saying he would always be a panel member.
“Kwaku Boahen stop insulting me because it is my choice to go on radio, which is not illegal; if you push me to the wall, I will be forced to say nasty things to you live on radio,” he warned.
He continued: “I paid for your schools before you were admitted into the university and you decided to join the NDC after you had graduated”, adding that the NDC man had no right to question his actions.
