Leasafric Ghana, an asset financing company, launched its newest service, the ‘Switch Car Rental,’ over the weekend for its customers to enjoy attractive in-country and cross border trips.
According to Kalu Onyeamu Kalu, General Manger of Leasafric Ghana, every Switch car comes with state-of-the-art tracking system for real-time tracking and monitoring, irrespective of the geographical location both in Ghana and beyond.
He also said the new service provides short term rentals at competitive rates that span a day up to a year, and saves the customer the ordeal of having to make heavy investments on vehicle purchases.
As part of the service, free Wi-Fi services are available to customers to get in touch with their online contacts throughout their journey despite their location.
“Our new Switch car rental is a direct response to the evolving need of our customers who told us that they want an enduring local brand, which provides tailored world class rental solutions to meet their needs,” Mr Kalu added.
Indicating that Leasafric currently employs 300 Ghanaians, he appealed to government to make the business environment more friendly to enable the company create more jobs for Ghanaians.
Edward Ashong-Lartey, Director of Investor Services at the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC), advised management of Leasafric to equip its drivers with thorough knowledge about all locations in Ghana since their clients, who are mostly foreigners, would have one-stop knowledge about their destinations, among others.
Leasafric, established in 1922, provides operating lease, switch care rental, fleet management, staff bussing, finance lease, outsourcing, tracking, sale and lease back.
