The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of a surveillance company, Avcontech Limited otherwise called Security Masters, has counselled Ghanaians to invest in their possessions especially cars, giving assurance that they can be secured effectively.

Speaking to DAILY GUIDE, he wondered why in this day and age car owners would allow robbers to outwit them by driving away their cars.

His advice comes in the wake of recent stealing of cars by prospective buyers who use the pretext of test driving the vehicles and in the event drive off.

Nana Kweku Ofori, whose company deals in CCTV cameras, car tracking devices, smoke detectors, fire alarm systems, among other gadgets, said “as individuals we all long for some form of security.  There have been countless reports of armed robbery cases and attacks on individuals, at workplaces, public places and even in the church where it’s believed to be the house of God”.

He said: “There are efficient gadgets to manage the security of individuals and institutions, especially the use of car tracking devices which makes it impossible for robbers to achieve their objective of covering long distances with their booty; the owner would be able to track the vehicle and stop it wherever it has reached”.

He continued: “We have a strong reputation for deploying innovative, high-quality technology products and effective support and maintenance services that are second to none”, adding “my company has supported the Ghana Police Service with some of its security devices”. He pointed at the Tesano, Osu, Nima, Taifa, Kwabenya police stations, including the Police Headquarters as some of its social corporate responsibilities.
