A dealer of Ghana Oil Company (GOIL), C.K. Services Limited, has opened its fourth filling station in the Ashanti Region with a pledge to focus on convenience, affordability and quality in the provision of services to customers.

The new filling station, which is located at Fawoade in the Kwabre East Municipality along the Kumasi-Mampong road, has large space to ensure the convenience of customers.

The establishment of the new fuel service station forms part of the corporate strategy of C.K. Services Limited to attract customers, who are dissatisfied with their existing filling stations.

The company was adjudged the Middle-Belt Zone Best Dealer of GOIL for the year 2006.

Speaking at the opening of the service station, Managing Director of C.K. Services Limited, Charles Kwasi Amponsah, said the company has branches at Maakro, Tanoso and Meduma, and hopes to open more service stations in the shortest possible time within the middle belt zone of GOIL.

“Ghanaians are dying for revolution in the oil service station business, focused on convenience, affordability, quality and right quantity of products, and we are here to provide it all to the motoring public,” Mr. Amponsah stated.

According to him, C.K Services Limited, in partnership with GOIL, has been involved in the petroleum industry for the past 15 years and employs about 70 people, including drivers and conductors.

“Today marks another important milestone in the growth of C.K. Services Limited in the middle belt zone; it’s the opening of the fourth station, as we move steadfastly towards our 10-station objective,” the MD emphasized.

He added that the aim of the company is to provide livelihood for locals and their dependents and support the growth of local communities.

Head of Fuels Marketing at GOIL, Marcus Deo Dake, praised C.K. Services for effectively promoting GOIL by adhering to regulations on standard, safety and security.

He said issues related to safety and security had been scaled up at GOIL to make its branded service stations safe for customers and patrons.

“The company combines relatively low prices and distinctive customer services to make it easier for motorists to make greater choice.

“GOIL is known for its quality fuel at the right quantity, and we will continue to give our customers value for money for the products that they purchase. It’s the only way to survive the keen competition in the industry; GOIL offers services and does not sell just fuel,” he added.
