The organisers of the Ghana Business Awards (GBA) have honoured Papaye Fast Food for its immense contribution towards the development of fast food industry in the country and its consistent commitment to corporate social responsibility.
Papaye Fast Food won the Restaurant of The Year Award at the ceremony held at the Kempinski Hotel in Accra.
Several distinguished personalities from the various sectors of the economy and some corporate institutions were honoured for their outstanding achievements.
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Papaye Fast Food, Divine Asiedu, who received the awards on behalf of his company, in an interview with BEATWAVES, thanked the organisers for the award.
Mr. Asiedu, who commended the organisers for instituting an award scheme to motivate hardworking entrepreneurs to strive for professional excellence and service, gave an assurance that Papaye Fast Food would continue with its good work.
“We are very excited about this recognition. This will inspire us and we commit to taking the fast food business to the next level in the years ahead. We thank our customers for the continued support and loyalty to the Papaye brand,” he added.
Papaye, he stated, has been able to support Ghanaian workers with quality food. It currently has 500 workers.
GBA is an awards event that recognises and rewards excellence across all sectors in Ghana.
The awards seeks to provide a platform to recognise individuals and companies that play a significant role in the growth and development of their business sector while recognising the key functions within the sector that promote growth and sustainability.
