Eric Twum
Gospel musician Eric Twum has said there is no way he will one day abandon gospel to do secular music like some gospel acts do when they face difficulties in their career.
He said he will remain committed to doing gospel music because it is his true calling from God.
“Gospel music is the calling God has given me and I can’t run away from it,” he told NEWS-ONE.
The 27-year-old Ashaiman-based musician is an Accounting graduate of Kumasi Polytechnic, but he has abandoned his certificate to pursue music.
According to him, “Music is my passion and calling that God has given to me. That is why I am doing music.”
He has always loved music from childhood and started singing long time ago, but he decided go commercial about a year and half ago.
He is currently out with a debut album titled ‘Onyame Nwanwani’ (Wonderful God).
The album was written and produced Mrs. Esther Ziamah of the Church of Pentecost.
Some of the songs on the album are ‘Aseda Ye Wo Far’, ‘Anuonyam Hene’, ‘Glory Be To God’, ‘Holy’, ‘Me Kra Nkwagye Nyame’, ‘Onyame Nwanwani’, among others.
The album is a combination of praise and worship songs that are intended to inspire and transform the lives of listeners.
