TWO SUSPECTED thieves identified as Sulley and Mohammed Amudu were found dead at Fiapre in the Sunyani West District of the Brong Ahafo Region on Wednesday morning.
The two believed to be in their thirties, were found naked and dead with bruises all over their bodies at an outskirts of Fiapre. The cuts on their bodies, eyewitnesses say, were cutlass wounds.
A resident who spoke to DAILY GUIDE but pleaded anonymity said, ‘We woke up early in the morning only to find out that two dead bodies were laid outside this part of the Fiapre community near Notre Dame Girls Senior High school’.
Some community members told DAILY GUIDE that, the deceased were thieves and that they had been troubling them for some time now. It is uncertain what time they were lynched but residents believed it was on Tuesday night.
The bodies have since been deposited at the morgue pending police investigation. Mother of Mohammed, Abieba Labo, in painful mood, said, though her son was addicted to tramadol, he was not a thief; lamenting that, ‘they killed my son and his friend for stealing laptops but the laptops too could not be found in their room.’
A lot of people rushed to the scene to catch a glimpse of the supposed thieves.
