Ashgold Supporters Threaten Demo …Over Kotoko’s Raid

George Amoako

SOME ANGRY supporters of Ashantigold FC are planning to hit the streets to demonstrate, reports suggest.

This follows a speculation that Kotoko is on the brink of plucking away key players of Ashantigold FC very soon.

Three integral players of Ashantigold FC are reported to have agreed to join Kotoko in the coming days.

The trio, said to be key members of Ashantigold squad, wants to play in the Africa Confederation Cup.

The players, according to reports, believe that Kotoko’s participation in Africa will help to market them, globally.

Even though the Ashantigold management has not released the three players to Kotoko yet, some of their fans are angry.

Sources at Obuasi said some of the angry Ashantigold fans have even threatened to demonstrate soon.

These angry supporters, reportedly, said they would not allow the three players to leave the club and join Kotoko.

The supporters therefore want to use the demonstration to warn management not to sell the players to Kotoko.
