Giovanni Caleb
Radio & TV presenter Giovanni Caleb has denied claims that he left EIB Network— owners of Star FM, Live FM, GHone TV, Kasapa FM, among others— because of “bad blood.”
According to him, he had a good relationship with his former employers before his move.
Speaking to NEWS-ONE on Wednesday, he said it was a personal career decision to say goodbye to EIB. He worked with the network for three years and thought it’s time to move on.
The co-host of Starr Drive on Starr 103.5 FM and Duvet on GHOne TV this week announced that he has left the EIB Network for 3FM, a radio brand of Media General— owners of TV3.
“There are decisions that are very hard to make, but there comes a time in our life where God’s plans supersedes our own. I want to use this opportunity to thank EIB NETWORK for the amazing journey. Thanks to you fans and listeners of #DUVET and #StarrDRIVE. The team at @starr1035fm & @ghonetv and of course the Emperor himself @bolarayofficial. Wishing the whole company all the best for the future. God bless us all,” he said on Instagram.
During the interview with NEWS-ONE, he added, “It has been amazing working at EIB, I won’t lie about that. They gave me a platform and I utilised it. I made them proud. I didn’t disappoint them. I also enjoyed my time with EIB. There was no bad blood. It was a mutual understanding.”
