Gold Coast Restaurant & Cocktail Bar, which is located in the plush Airport Residential Area, Accra, close to the Nyaho Medical Centre, will host a musical show today to entertain Ghanaian music lovers.
According to the organisers, music lovers and fans of Ghanaian hiplife, highlife and Afro-pop music should expect a fun-packed night at the event which kicks off at 7:00pm.
The show, organisers revealed, is going to be the biggest musical concert, which is expected to bring together families, individuals and lovers of Ghanaian music on one platform to celebrate Ghana’s 62nd Independence Day.
A number of Ghanaian artistes have been invited to perform at the event, which will also feature Ghanaian-born Nigeria-based artiste Francis Goldman and Fred Kente as guest artistes.
The two guest artistes will be backed by the Hard Core Band.
Assistant General Manager of Gold Coast Restaurant, Mr. Easmond Mensah, indicated that management wants to make the independence eve a special one in the annals of the restaurant and mark it as such.
“This is a night that we want to celebrate annually most, especially its historical significance and we will want to host this special event annually so it becomes part of us as an eatery,” he added.
