Guinness HR Director Picks Best Award

HAZEL POBEWA Berrard Amua, Human Resource Director of Guinness Ghana, was adjudged the ‘Best HR Practitioner of the Year’ at the 2019 Human Resource Focus Awards held in Accra.

This was in recognition for her excellence in the delivery of innovative Human Resource Management Practice.

Apart from taking home the biggest prize at the event, Dr. Amuah’s organization, Guinness Ghana, was also adjudged the company with the Best HR Management in Manufacturing as well as the Best Organization in HR Information Systems (HRIS).

Over 27 HR practitioners and HR teams across industries in Ghana were recognized at the 8th HR Focus Conference and 3rd HR Focus Awards organized by HR Focus Africa Magazine in Accra.

In February 2019, Dr. Amuah was also adjudged Woman HR Professional of the year 2018 for the private sector, at the Ghana Human Resources Innovation Awards.

She was also listed on the most-sought-after 2019 top 20 HR Leaders in Ghana log. She was previously in the top 50 but her sterling performance pushed her further up into the top 20.
