Task Force Patrols Suame Magazine

A Special Task Force has been assigned to patrol the Suame Magazine, in Kumasi.

The MCE for Suame, Dr. Bobie Ansah, announced that the new directive is to help prevent theft at the place.

Suame Magazine, without doubt, has been the hub of artisan works and vehicular repairs in the country for years.

The place is also the center for the sale of spare parts of different brands of vehicles.

The boisterous place had become quiet since the partial lockdown started in the fight against the Covid-19.

As a result, some thieves have also taken advantage of the situation to steal car parts and other items and the MCE confirmed on Nhyira FM that indeed thieves were having their way at the Suame Magazine and must be stopped at once.

“We have reports that thieves have invaded the area since the spare parts dealers stopped working on Monday”.

The Suame MCE accused some squatters at the Suame Magazine for masterminding the thievery in the area.

To stop the thefts, he announced that a special task force has been formed to patrol the area day and night.
