Frederick Opare-Ansah during his inspection
THE MEMBER of Parliament (MP) for Suhum Constituency in the Eastern Region, Frederick Opare-Ansah, has inspected a COVID-19 project dubbed “Suhum MP’s Support Projects” in his quest to complement government effort towards fighting the coronavirus pandemic.
Last week, the MP launched the projects during which he distributed items, such as poly tanks, Veronica buckets, sanitizers, spraying machines, tissues, and other items worth GH¢200,000.
Besides, he donated 10 pieces of personal protective equipment to the Municipal Health Directorate to complement the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.
The MP used the visit to sensitize his constituents to the protocols put out by the World Health Organization (WHO) to help prevent the spread of the virus.
Mr. Opare-Ansah was happy they were adhering to the precautionary measures laid down to deal with the disease and urged them to continue with that attitude.
He pledged his continuous support to the constituents for them to cope with their new way of life occasioned by the pandemic.
The MP affirmed that the project would continue to run in a bid to help the communities until the disease is over.
