The Public Relations Officer (PRO) of Charterhouse, Robert Klah, has revealed that artistes billed to perform at the virtual concert to honour frontline health workers have volunteered to perform for free.

“Artistes who are performing at the Ghana Music Awards Foundation Covid-19 Heroes Concert will be doing so in the name of charity,” he said.

The PRO confirmed that all the artistes billed for the charity event had agreed to perform for free at the event, which would take place tomorrow, Sunday, at 9:30pm, and will be aired on TV3 and some social media platforms.

According to him, all artistes are expected to wow music fans with their danceable songs, dancing skills and stagecraft.

He promised patrons nothing but the best of music and entertainment on one stage.

He disclosed that the event would feature an incredible lineup of homegrown circular and gospel artistes who were expected to thrill music fans to their satisfaction.

Artistes who have been billed to rock the stage include Joe Mettle, Kofi Kinaata, Diana Hamilton, Efya, Celestine Donkor, Akwaboah Jnr., MOG, Adina and Strongman.

The rest are Cindy Thompson, Kwesi Arthur, Wiyaala, Medikal, Amandzeba Nat Brew, Patch Bay Band and a host of others.

The program is meant to inspire hope, support the fundraising effort of the Covid-19 National Trust Fund and to lend a voice to the “Wear a Mask” campaign.

The Vodafone Ghana Music Awards Covid-19 Heroes Concert is a Ghana Music Awards Foundation initiative and it is brought to you in association with TV3, Vodafone Ghana Foundation, Image Bureau, Rhythms Africa, Big Ideaz and powered by Charterhouse.
