Ken Agyapong
The crusade by the outspoken Member of Parliament (MP) for Assin Central, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, to expose what he calls fake pastors appears to be ‘scaring’ some top ‘men of God’ in the country.
The vociferous MP has said he is on an agenda to name and shame all the so-called men of God for their fake and fraudulent activities.
The move has, therefore, set fear and panic among some of them, one of whom is even reported to have said he will commit suicide if the firebrand MP reveals his ‘dirty’ secrets.
Kennedy has revealed that at least six of the top fake pastors are on his radar and are being monitored for their fraudulent activities.
According to him, these six pastors have been filled with fright ever since he threatened to publicly expose their dubious and fraudulent activities.
Secret Apology
Kennedy said the six pastors, whose identities he would not disclose for now for obvious reasons, were secretly apologizing to him not to expose them.
The lawmaker, however, stated categorically that he would never spare the pastors until they repented from their sinful and dubious ways.
According to him, his resolve to expose all fake pastors and prophets in the country was on course and “absolutely no apologies” would make him stop.
War On Fake Pastors
Kennedy Agyapong started the grand campaign to expose fake pastors by first attacking the Founder and General Overseer of Glorious Wave Church International, Prophet Emmanuel Badu Kobi, whom he said was one of the fake pastors involved in a lot of fraudulent activities.
He then switched his attention to the flamboyant and controversial Bishop Daniel Obinim, leader and founder of the International God’s Way Church, describing him as fake and fraudulent.
The MP has since got Obinim arrested and is currently standing trial at a Kaneshie Magistrate Court.
Begging Pastors
Even though Kennedy said he would not disclose the names of the six pastors for now, he went ahead to name two other pastors that he said were also begging him.
It is, however, not known if these pastors are part of the initial six pastors that he claimed had secretly been begging him not to expose them because their image would be dented.
Pastor Love
According to him, one Pastor Love, whom he (Kennedy) has labelled as a fake pastor, has contacted Kennedy’s friend in the USA to beg Kennedy on his behalf.
“Of late, Pastor Love has sent someone to me to come and apologize, but I want him to come and confess himself,” the MP said, adding “Pastor Love has contacted my friend called Guy Gee in the USA to beg on his behalf. He said whatever we said about him here (NET2 TV) is the truth so he is apologizing.”
Nakoa Isaac
Kennedy also mentioned one pastor called Nakoa Isaac of the Jericho Miracle Church as one of the pastors under fire, who has been begging him secretly not to expose him.
“He has contacted my good friend, Chairman Buta, aka Dankwa Smith, to apologize on his behalf so that I will not expose him, but I won’t mind him.
“Chairman Buta said Nakoa Isaac even knelt and cried that if I exposed him and collapsed his church he would commit suicide, but I will expose him for him to end his life,” he vowed.
He said Nakoa Isaac, like the other fake prophets, had been selling oil and candle to his ‘naive’ congregants, saying they have special powers, but there is nothing in them.
He said the likes of Nakoa Isaac are all fake pastors and he would make sure that such fake prophets were exposed and their churches would also collapse in the process.
He said the pastors were causing so much pain to many people and the country at large by destroying families, marriages, friendships and businesses through false prophecies.
